Who are you?

Let me introduce myself: I'm Mrs Moonbeam. I live with my husband of almost two years, Mr Moonbeam, and our beautiful Baby Moonbeam! We are both in our mid-to-late twenties and our little one is almost 5 glittery months old!

What can I expect from Glittery Moonbeam?

Nothing! If you have high expectations from Glittery Moonbeam then you may leave sadly disappointed; if you don't have any expectations you may leave a happy shimmering moonbeam! However, should you choose to ignore this and thus form expectations then you are most likely to stumble upon random ramblings, crafty tutorials and baby related posts, amongst other things!

Why are you writing Glittery Moonbeam?

Why not?! One of the main reasons for writing this blog is to keep that grey squishy matter between my ears ticking along nicely! You may find it hard to believe but maternity leave provides very little in the way of adult brain stimulation (okay, maybe it's not that hard to believe!) After hundreds of renditions of what feels like hundreds of different nursery rhymes, you can feel your brain starting to mush every so slightly!
Moreover, I've always enjoyed writing and I love reading blogs so I'm hopping aboard the bandwagon!

How did you come up with the name Glittery Moonbeam?

Do you remember the good ol' days when connecting to the internet involved an obnoxious ringing dial-up tone and connection didn't happen instantaneously? Well, back then in the olden days, I was just a teen who loved nothing more than a chin wag on MSN with my friends. Can you guess what my screen name was? Glittery Moonbeam! 10 points to whoever guessed right! I've decided to reunite with my long lost alter ego. After all, we all love a good reunion... 5ive anyone?!
